The USDA has raised its expectations for 2026 U.S. corn and soybean production. Corn is now seen at 16.013 billion bushels, with soybeans at 4.519 billion bushels, both up slightly from July, with lower yield projections more than canceled out by increased planted and harvested area numbers for both crops.
